A podcast for construction's AI pioneers
Real conversations from the people bringing AI into construction.
No hype. Just honest stories from estimators, project managers, superintendents, and preconstruction leaders who are testing AI, convincing their teams, and building new workflows from the ground up.
If you're the one on your team pushing AI forward — you belong here.
About the show
Construction Intelligence Lab is a podcast built around one simple idea: nobody has construction AI completely figured out yet, and the most valuable thing we can do right now is share what we're learning in real time.
Every episode is a conversation with a construction professional who is actively implementing AI inside their organization — what worked, what failed, how their teams responded, and what they'd do differently. Implementation over hype. Every time.
New episodes every two weeks.
Your Host
Vince Diaz
Podcast Host
Senior Preconstruction Manager
Vince Diaz leads an estimating department at a commercial construction company in Houston, where he works at the intersection of preconstruction and emerging technology every day. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Applied Research and Innovation Committee on the Construction Management Industry Advisory Board at the University of Houston.
Construction Intelligence Lab is his ongoing effort to document how AI is actually being adopted in the field — not the pitch deck version, but the real one. The messy, honest, trial-and-error version that practitioners actually recognize.
